PeakView Connect (“we,” “us,” or “PeakView”) is operated by PeakView Mortgage, 101 N. F Street, Suite 200, Salida, CO 81201 (Company NMLS #1764010; Matthew Wierzbinski, NMLS #245088, CO MLO #100506308). This policy explains what personal information we collect through peakviewconnect.com, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you provide directly:
- Account details — name, email address, and a password (stored only in encrypted/hashed form).
- Profile information — your goals (buying, refinancing, investing), general financial snapshot details you choose to share (such as price range, down payment range, credit range, timeline), town/area of interest, and working-style preferences used for professional matching.
- Professional profiles — business name, role, service areas, experience, and contact details for professionals who join the network.
- Messages and inquiries — anything you send us through forms, email, phone, or in-app messaging.
Information collected automatically:
- Conversations with Morgan, our AI assistant (see the AI section below).
- Basic usage analytics — pages viewed, features used, and approximate technical information (browser type, device type, IP address) used for security, rate limiting, and improving the service.
- Scenario calculations you save in your account.
We do not ask for, and you should never enter, Social Security numbers, full bank account numbers, or other highly sensitive identifiers anywhere on this site — including in chat with Morgan. A formal loan application, if you choose to pursue one, happens through separate, secure loan-origination channels — not through this website.
How we use your information
- To create and maintain your account and personalize your market intelligence brief.
- To match you with local professionals (agents, processors, insurance agents, financial advisors) based on your stated goals and preferences — a core purpose of the platform.
- To power Morgan, our AI assistant, so it can give answers relevant to your situation.
- To contact you about your inquiry, your account, or market updates you have opted into. You can opt out of non-essential emails at any time.
- To operate, secure, debug, and improve the service, including preventing abuse.
- To comply with legal and regulatory obligations that apply to mortgage professionals.
We do not sell your personal information.
AI assistant (Morgan) — important disclosures
- Morgan is an artificial-intelligence assistant, not a human. Its responses are informational only and are not financial, legal, or lending advice, and never constitute a loan offer, quote, or commitment to lend.
- Conversations with Morgan may be stored and reviewed by PeakView staff to answer your questions, improve accuracy, and ensure quality.
- Messages are processed by a third-party AI model provider under contractual safeguards in order to generate responses.
- AI can make mistakes. Verify any important figures directly with Matthew Wierzbinski before making decisions.
- Never share Social Security numbers, account numbers, or other highly sensitive data in chat.
Who we share information with
- Matched professionals: if you request or accept a match, we share the profile details relevant to that engagement (your name, contact information, goals, and preferences) with the matched professional so they can serve you. We do not broadcast your information to the whole network.
- Service providers: hosting, database, email delivery, and AI-model providers that process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal requirements: when required by law, regulation, subpoena, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
Data retention and security
We keep your account and profile data while your account is active and as required by applicable record-keeping laws. Passwords are stored only as one-way hashes. Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections and stored with access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
Your rights and choices
Colorado residents have rights under the Colorado Privacy Act, including the right to access, correct, or delete personal data and to opt out of targeted advertising (which we do not do). Regardless of where you live, you may:
- Access or update your profile information anytime from your account.
- Request a copy or deletion of your data by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within 45 days.
- Opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.
Children
This service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date, and continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance.
